Location help,please reply

[Android Question]

Hi,
I am using my smartphone lg-p700 to tether to my computer,Which appears to work great.However upon recently building a website im using google analytics to look at my traffic.The problem is analytics thinks my phone is in birmingham! im in Devon! (UK) So none of my info is correct.I got my girlfriend to log on to my site and in real time overview apparently she was viewing the site from birmingham.This is driving me insane,I've gone onto google maps a located myself and it works great.but not with analytics or speed test they think im in Birmingham! Am i doing something wrong? I was told to use a static IP?

Any help would be much much appreciated.

I assume you have the option to let Google use your location for search and other apps selected (location settings). I turn it off myself, but it's the first thing that comes to my mind here.

Hi Hadron,

Yeah all location services are turned on.It's just so strange..In theory my speed tests won't be accurate either,As im going via a location 170miles from me.It just seems to think im there.Im with 3 by the way. Thankyou for your quick response too
