Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but having searched the forums, I am unable to find an exactly similar problem.
I have recently been given a Desire S, through my company, supplied by Orange (UK). I was upgraded from a Desire, which ran 2.2. The S has 2.3, so has both Maps and Locations. Maps, I'm familiar with, but Locations not - so I tap the icon, and I get a screen which says 'Installing Locations'...blah, blah, and then nothing. The only option is to cancel the download..Tapping the menu icon, does nothing also...do I need to just leave it to download what may be a huge file? And, is it worth having?
