Lock/power button on top won't work!!

Lately my phone has been shutting off randomly in it's own, and today I dropped it and the button was fine all day, then it just randomly started not working. I factory reset it, and it worked for literally 5 seconds and now it's not working at all. Please help!!!

It sounds to me like your phone has sustained physical damage to the button or the switch inside. A factory reset, while it can help with software issues, would not correct hardware failure. Repair at an authorized facility is in order. Hope this helps and good luck.
