Help Lock Screen Message

[Android Question]

I have an HTC one M9 phone and I would like to set up a personalized message on my lock screen if possible.Any suggestions would be appreciated. I tried googling ways to do this but what I tried was ineffective.

Use a non-stock lockscreen if the stock one doesn't offer that option. Or make your own picture with a message and use that as lockscreen wallpaper.
