I recently purchased the Galaxy S4. My work requires that the phone be password protected.
I'd like to be able to view notifications on the lock screen (similar to the way the iphone has sms pop-ups on the lock screen), so that I don't have to enter my password each time I want to view the contents of an incoming text message. I know there are various apps that do this, but none of them seem to work if the phone is password protected.
The only app that I've seen that seems to be able to display on the lock screen while the phone is password protected is Pandora. However, the fact that Pandora displays makes me think other apps should be able to do so as well.
How do I go about receiving notifications on the lockscreen when password protected? I've searched online quiet a bit but haven't been able to find an answer.
