Help Lock screen pop ups?

With my Dinc 2 I used Handcent and had my incoming texts pop up on the screen so that I could view and respond quickly. I cannot seem to get this to work on the Inc 4G and have tried Handcent and SMS Popup.

Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Texts pop up on the screen stock. Just drag them to the circle to respond.

Thanks but I am not seeing that happen when the screen is off. Is there a setting that I missing?

When I change the setting in messages notification it does put a pop up on the lock screen but does not turn on the display.

Any ideas?
