Lock screen shortcuts & PIN number

I currently use just a swipe to unlock the screen. I have 3 app shortcuts on my lock screen. I am considering increasing my phone security and using a PIN number to lock the phone. However by doing this I lose the shortcuts. Is there any way of using a PIN and keeping the shortcuts?

Go to Settings > Lock Screen > and change the Screen Lock to PIN
and then, make sure to mark "with swipe lock" from the mentioned menu (Settings > Lock Screen)
Now you can have both your shortcuts and more secure lock
