Help Lock Screen stopped working

I dont set any patterns or password for the screen since its a pain in the ass half the time. Today I turned the phone on and noticed Im missing the basic swipe unlock to unlock screen. The one that also has the little slide to mute the phone. Restarted the phone a few times and its gone. Does anyone know how to get that back? I cant find it in the settings anywhere.

i cannot get the swipe lock to show up unless i set up a pattern lock...or if my handcent popup comes up...if i unlock on my own with power button it just simply goes to the last page i was on?/ i want my lock screen back :(

Hello everyone!

I also am having the same issue.. But thebarbrr is right a simple Factory Reset will fix the the problem. But i read somewhere that Verizon is aware of the problem and Hopefully they would release a update to fix this... :)

In my case this was caused by the "battery indicator pro" app, which was disabling the keyguard at boot time. Apps need a special 'DISABLE_KEYGUARD' permission to do this, so I used the PermissionDog app to track the apps that requested this permission. Uninstalled them one by one and sure enough, the problem went away! Hope this helps.

In addition: it's actually a feature in battery indicator pro to disable the lock screen. Apparently I enabled it without knowing..
