Help Lock Screen time extend?

When I press the Power Button, the Lock Screen comes on for 5 seconds before it goes out. Is there any way to extend this?

Not that I've found aside from interacting with the screen. At least not via the options available in the interface. You could probably find it in one of the conf files of a rooted phone.
It is assumed that if you don't unlock the phone then you don't need to use it and you were just checking the time or had pressed power by accident.
