Hey Guys,
Here is the lockscreen update that we have been waiting for.
I must tell you that I am a total noob but I wanted to change something about this device because it was my first android device. I had spent many sleepless nights surfing so many sites and browsing through many forums to figure out how to do this..
I am thankful to all the contributors on XDA for all the tutorials they have up there.. Without them I wouldn't have learnt a thing.
Shahabazas is the one who has tested these updates and I guess it is only for the Blue Terror Rom.
Let me tell you the difference this update will do to your device.
On the default Ginger Bread lockscreen:
1. Carrier Names removed
2. Fixed the Unlock/Volume button from falling off the bottom of the screen.
3. Removed the Unlock text that was next to the unlock button
4. Removed the 'Sound is On', 'Sound is Off' text and corresponding icons when using the Volume button
5. Remove all crappy looking status icons form the screen
6. All the elements in the lockscreen has been completely re aligned.. Like centering the Clock, Making sure the emergency button does not overlap any other buttons etc..
On the default Micromax Default Wallpaper: Using Curlockscreen=102
1. Transparent wallpaper
2. Carrier Names removed
3. Removed the crappy looking arrows
4. Removed the text 'Slide to Phone', 'Slide to Messages' and 'Slide to Unlock'
5. Removed the background bar when these texts come up.
6. Removed the margin bars at the bottom of the screen.
On the pattern lock screen:
1. Made the background transparent
2. Made the buttons invisible (change the show pattern view option in the pattern lock settings and it is so much cooler)
3. Removed the clock widget on the top
4. Removed the horizontal divider
5. Removed the emergency call button in the default view.
6. Added custom text "If found, please contact me at xxxxxx@xxx.com
For those of you who can't figure out how to change xxxxxx@xxx.com to your email address, can send a request (Along with your email address) for your email address to be added and I will send you a separate zip.
I will try to add a small tutorial on how to change the text as well..
And hey, as Ninad says "The thanks button will not click itself"
