Lock screen wallpaper & security?

As I use the pattern security to unlock my phone I am unable to have a lockscreen wallpaper. Given the choice of phone security or lockscreen wallpaper I chose security. It is the same if I use the number lock too.

This didnt really bother me until my Wife started showing off that her iphone had lockscreen wallpaper AND SECURITY!

Someone please help me shut her up and show her that Android is superior to ios.
