Help Lock Screen - Weird widget

Dear all,
When I have my LG G2 in my pocket and take it off and try to unlock it I see this weird widget on my lock screen. This is not a usual widget because I cannot disable it from the settings like the camera widget for example. I usually see after taking off the phone from my pocket. Sometimes it disappears and some other it reappears... I tried everything to disable it but I failed... Any Help would be acceptable! Thank you for your time

I've never seen that before (though my phone is heavily modded), but with the text there, my only guess might be you have the Remote Control (for a tv) enabled and it shows up on the lockscreen? Have you enabled that in quick settings?

That is the media player. Not sure if it's "Music" offhand (can vary by carrier/model). Basically, a song was paused or stopped on the media player but the app has not been exited.

Sort of a feature that you can pause, play, FF, etc without unlocking your phone.

Unfortunately it is not either tv remote or Music :/
I cannot control when it will appear or not....
It is insane!

I GOOGLED GR COSMOTE & found that it is a Greek telecom provider.If you're hailing from that part of the world,then this is probably not news to you.

If this indeed is your service provider,or,have a application loaded on your phone relating to it,I'd start there.

Cosmote GR has nothing to do with that... Its always appears regardless of which widget appears any time.

btw, I have observed that it appears when I miss an incoming call but still I cannot disable it.

Finally, it appears when I have any notification (missed call, sms, email, etc...)! THATS FOR SURE 100%.
But still I cannot disable it!

I don't have my G2 with me at the moment,but,I have my FLEX,which has a similar U/I.

Anything in your lockscreen settings that may be the culprit?
(MENU> SETTINGS>DEVICE>LOCK SCREEN)

Or,have you (inadvertently) enabled something in Developer Options?
(MENU>SETTINGS>SYSTEM>DEVELOPER OPTIONS).

If none of this points to the culprit,I'd still contact who sold you the phone/service provider,or,LG for your specific area (GREECE?)

Download and try Lockscreen Policy from the Playstore. Disable widgets on the lockscreen with it (I don't think it requires ROOT, but don't know for sure)...

Supposedly it's built into KK (Settings | Security), but I don't have KK yet (I'm on VZW). If your device is the international version, maybe you have KK and can find the setting for it there.

It appears to be an indicator of what network you are connected to. I am on Sprint and have the same icon but with "Sprint" next to it. If I put the phone in airplane mode then the text next to the icon will say "Airplane Mode" also. While switching back out of airplane mode I noticed it saying "Searching for Service" for a split second before going back to "Sprint".

The icon looks like it may possibly represent the LTE/4G SIM card.
