I have go sms on my lock screen on Mt razr maxx. My wife has the standard text messaging symbol. I can't remember how i removed the standard and used the go sms. Anybody tell me how to do it?

Don't use a different message program myself, but I seem to remember posts with something about disabling the stock app and then being able to chose the default on the lock screen.

if you have disabled the stock messaging app, re-enable it and remove go sms, the stock messaging app should appear back on your lockscreen unlock options.

for go sms to be there i would guess you need to be rooted first.

Are you using go launcher to modify the lock screen?

Within the settings of go sms there is a setting that allows you to chose gosms as the default sms and mms client. if you choose gosms as the default client then gosms will appear on the lock screen. You do not have to be rooted.

I am assuming that this is what you want to achieve.
