Talking with my corporate IT guys today I got lippy and asked why their security policies were so aggressive so as to limit lock screen activity of things like Pandora and the camera. He responded that my device actually determines what functionality is and is not allowed on the lock screen.
Sure enough, I took my corporate account off and removed the password an the idle screen worked as it should. I shake the phone a couple times and the camera opens as it should. However when I put a password to unlock all those things stop working even without corporate security policies.
Anyone know how to turn those functions on when a password is enabled?
