Lock Screens

Hey guys.I have an I9250 Galaxy Nexus.First time I used it and logged into my google account all kinds of lock screens were available.I selected face unlock I used it for a while but now Face Unlock,Slide and None are disabled.They are gray and Under them this is written:

None
Disabled by Administrator,encryption policy, or credential storage

Slide
Disabled by Administrator,encryption policy, or credential storage

Face Unlock
Disabled by Administrator,encryption policy, or credential storage
What should I do.Pleaseeeee help meeeeeee

Is this a corporate phone or connected to your companies servers (exchange)?

There is your answer, it seems their policy it to limit you to pin unlock which isn't unreasonable as that is the only secure option.

you mean there is not a way to solve this problem because a lot had this problem in other forums but I couldn't try them.But one said factory reset will do the job but I have so much IMPORTANT files!!!!!

That may work, I don't have much experience with corporate devices, just enough to know that that is a common issue. I imagine that the factory reset would sever your connection to the company's infrastructure though.

I'm not quite understanding, are you needing to use it for work? If you are using it for work, there is likely no way to bring back the other choices -- they require the phone to have some security so that it is harder for unauthorized users to get access. Even if you restore the phone, when you reload the software you need for work it will lock the phone up again.

If it was for a job you no longer have, or if you no longer need to use the phone for work, it might be as easy as just removing the applications that were downloaded for your job. OTOH, it is possible depending on how they "fixed" the security, that you will need to do a factory update (and reinstall your apps) to get rid of the security on the phone.

No i need my apps,I have lots of Information on it!!!! and NO I didn`t use it for work.I bought it about a month ago!

I found out why.Just remove any VPNs using and it will go back to normal.
