You can lock the desktop which means that you can't move or delete any icons. It's in Menu>More>Lock Desktop on my X8 so assume its somewhere similar in the X10 (I'm running Launcher Pro on my X10 now)

I'm using the same Launcher, and used to have the same problem. You can't lock the launcher bar exclusively, but you can lock the entire desktop. Just hit your left most key (Settings), there is a button in the bottom right that appears "Lock Desktop". It will prevent you from moving / deleting any icons on your desktop or launch bar.

thatll solve the unintentional deleting, i suppose i just unlock it if i want to delete apps from the screen. any help with where the keypad settting is for a shortcut?
