Lockbot issue

I've got Lockbot and I really like it, but I have a couple of issues I'm hoping someone can help me with:

1. Sometimes when unlocking, it comes up with the stock HTC unlock screen for a second, then lockbot. Also occasionally when unlocking, it will unlock to the stock HTC swipe screen, where I have to unlock it again.

2. Popups from handcent sms display over the lockscreen no matter what, so I have had to disable them for now.

It's a shame that there isn't some way to actually replace the stock lockscreen, instead of running an app over the top that seems to do battle with it..

For the issue with the wrong lock screen appearing or HTC lock screen appearing before lockbot's, go to lockbot's settings and disable and re-enable lockbot using the check box. This will reset lockbot as default. I have to do this sometime after I mount the phone on the PC. As for the other problem, I don't have a solution.

I have heard a lot of people say they like WidgetLocker over Lockbot but have not used it myself.

Strangely I had this issue very rarely but now suddenly the thing now says "download error please try again" every time I try to access the theme gallery.
