Locked out and can't reset

[Android Question]

I just found my old proscan PLT7223G and was going to use it. But I have forgotten the pattern password and trying to log in through my Gmail username and password show no results. I've tried holding the reset button. When the tablet is on it just turns it off and when turned back on still wants password. Please help.

Having Google around a bit I think you may have to use this tool

Suggest you read up as much as you can first! This may not work if you don't have usb debugging enabled as I don't see how you can turn that setting on without access. ..

I can't even log in using Gmail and password on tablet yet can log on Gmail using my htc
