[Android Question]

my girlfriend used too many patterns to try to get into my phone and now its asking for my google user name and password. but when i enter my google info it says invalid user name or password. so i went to my laptop and changed my google password. made no difference. why is my phone not recognizing my google account info?

I suspect the problem is that the data and wifi is off on your phone - when you enter your password/ google account it can't check back to googles servers. Do you have any app set to connect to the internet at a particular time? If so, try then. Have you tried restarting the phone and seeing if that turns data/wifi on? (long press power button to turn it off)

I would try the methods that do not require changing your google account details first.

In future, its best to set a wifi timer for, say, 1 hour per day so that you know that at a certain time your wifi will be on!

If all else fails its a factory reset
