My friend let me have her phone, and she had a pattern password, she doesn't remember her password, & she doesn't remember her Google Account email nor password. Is there another way I can unlock it so I can start using it?

You could always do a factory reset but it will delete everything not stored on an SD card. And will also delete things that are not backed up. If you're okay with the factory reset then Google your phone and how to do a factory reset on it. Hope this helped!

However, I think that Android Addict is correct. If you don't know the google account details you'll probably have to do a factory reset to get into the phone. This is a security measure: if there was a way of getting past the lock without wiping the data, any thief could use that and have access to all of your data.

The problem is that if she doesn't remember the account details at all then there's no way she'll be able to restore paid apps or backed-up data (e.g. any contacts which were synced with google) because she doesn't know what account this stuff is stored to. So I would try to find that information first if at all possible, e.g. check her other email accounts for any "Welcome to GMail" type mails that might have come when she signed-up the account she uses on the phone.
