Help Locking down Android Tablet/Circumventing Software

Hi all,

I bought a Nabi BigTab HD for my grandmother to use instead of her old desktop PC...She only uses it for email and card games anyway. Nabi designs these for children and has some non standard android features. I have it set to load into parent mode so it acts more like a normal android tablet, but the first page it loads is its special Nabi page. I can still swipe right for all the additional app pages, but is it possible to set the tablet to load on the second page and password lock the left/right swipe to change pages?

Also, is it possible to password lock the apps button at the bottom center of the screen? i used an app to lock all the apps she shouldn't be opening like the play store and settings, but the more I can lock down the better.

I suppose you may be able to use a launcher which may work. I have no idea about password lock except i suspect it would require boot access

Smart App Lock will pin lock chosen apps including play store I think

Sweet. I got an app lock and that seems to work well. I assume I'd need to do some deep research into locking the screen swipe.
