Root Locking Volumes

I want to always lock my ringtones, notifications and alarms at full volume and only allow the buttons to control the volume for music, etc...

I've been able to do that with Volume Locker (with some nice configuration to make it less obtrusive), but it's a bit of a wonky experience. Is there a better way?

Maybe the xposed module volumesteps+. It looks like it will do what you want.

I believe I just ran across a native ROM option for what you want to do in the slimkat ROM. It's under the advance sound options.
