Help locking while taking pictures?

anyone ever have a problem when they are taking pictures and the screen with have a little padlock come on and all you can do is restart your phone? that keeps happening to me.. anyone know what the cause of this is?

i had this same problem but if you press the screen of and on button on the top right side of the phone the padlock goes away and the phone is usable.

When you have the camera operating, you cannot turn off the screen by pressing the Power Button like you would with any other app running. This will just lock the camera app, and the little padlock will be displayed. To unlock, like stated above, simply press the Power Button again.

Yup, it's a feature so that you can lock the phone in camera mode. I've accidentally hit the home or back button too many times with my thumb while trying to get the phone in position to take a picture.

Tapping the power button after firing up the camera app is pretty useful for me.

Tap it again and the padlock will go away, and you can exit the camera app.
