Lockscreen Clock Removal

Landos23

Lurker
Hi there, first post around here so I hope I'm getting this right.

I'm on a Galaxy S3 running Android version 4.4.2 and I'm wondering 2 things:

1.) I'm wondering if there is any way i can remove the Clock from the lock screen (like the title suggests), as i dont really need it there since its on the top black bar and is in the way of my lock screen picture

and

2.) Is there any way that I can hide the password/pattern/ect until i am ready to put it in (kinda like the, *GASP*, iPhone system where you swipe when ur ready to input your passcode, thus leaving the lock screen picture completely visible)

I only came here to ask because after looking through the Play store, i couldnt find anything that i would deem a solution, unless there is something you all think i should look at.

Thanks so much for your time!!

Samsung used to have both options you want on the S3 when it released and removed it with the update to 4.3 and I have no idea why. The top bar clock also used tl vanish when locked.

You could use Widgetlocker though.

Disabling unlock effect will make it hint at swipe to unlock for a second then show full wallpaper until you unlock the device.
