Help Lockscreen needs improvement

Disappointed with the lack of customization with the lockscreen. I have not found a well functioning replacement for it. Why would this be locked down?
How do we contact samsung developers?

Samsung isn't locking things down, they're welding them shut. Blame corporate America. People want to bring their own phones into corporate networks, and the companies want the networks to be secure. How do you do that? You make a phone no one can get into. Eventually all we'll be able to do is phone calls, texts, browsing and whatever apps the phone comes with.

Tell corporate America to secure their own networks? Never! The phone manufacturers have to do it for them.

When is that Linux distro that's built for Android hardware coming out?
