Help Lockscreen; Shortcuts do not bypass PIN

So got my new One X. I see that the shortcuts on the lockscreen are meant to work without having to insert my PIN. However they do not. When I select one, I get my PIN entry screen.

As result the same happens if I try to use Widgetlocker for lock screen control. This also means for Widgetlocker, I cannot answer the phone from the WL lockscreen as I used to on my HTC Desire, without entering my PIN.

As suggestions????

Wouldn't be much point in having PIN if the lock screen shortcuts bypasses it.
You should find you can answer calls with PIN activated just by pulling the answer icon into the lock screen ring.

The only shortcut that won't ask for a PIN is the camera.

Also, there's an option within WL, something like "show WL instead of incoming call", is that checked? I've definitely had the stock answer call screen appear over WL when I've had it installed so there's probably just a setting that needs tweaked.

Didn't know about the camera, what happens when you have a pin number, use the camera shortcut and then press the home button, do you go back to the lockscreen or the homescreen?

If you hit back, gallery or home after being in the camera, you're prompted for your pin. If you turn the screen off, it takes you back to the lock screen.

I think it's the same with widgetlocker, the camera opens without asking for a PIN.

So uninstalled WL and then the phone works as usual. When I get an incoming call I can answer or decline without having to enter the PIN etc.

I reinstalled WL. With the default slider the call answer is as it should be. Once I change the default slider to a custom slider, I cannot answer a call without entering the PIN. Wierd

Actually, disregard the above, I've been messing about with WL today and I see what you mean. I've been testing at home with an app called Unlock with WiFi which removes the security pin screen when connected to my home WiFi.

I was out today and got the lock screen as opposed to the answer call screen. Let me have a mess about with some settings and see what I can come up with.

What I really miss about Widget locker is the ability to put a message saying "If found please contact etc" Also I loved the ability to out the power bar on the lock screen in order to switch on bluetooth when I got in the car without unlocking. So I could in fact flick on bluetooth when at the traffic lights.

I have emailed the WL developer and the silence in deafening

I actually did the same about an hour ago.

In all fairness to him, I've emailed him before, not heard anything and then an update to the app has been released a week or so later which fixes the issue.
