Android Question

I moved from Blackberry devices to an Android Note2 about a year ago.

The one and only one thing that I really miss about my blackberry devices is the ability to use a shortcut to add a date, or time, or both to any text I was writing.

ld = Log Date
lt = Log Time
ldt = Log Date & Time

It was a great time-saver when I wanted to record notes for follow-up later.

Is there some way to create a keyboard shortcut or some other app to accomplish the same thing.

(Usually I feel like I am missing this most while using OneNote. I also know that the desktop application has this feature, but I want it on my Note2.)

No I dont think there is. Copy and pasting is the only choice. You can also do shortcuts in android's stock spell checker where it saves your custom words. There is an option for word shortcuts there.

Hope this helps!
