finally! Been trying to log in, off and on, for approx 2 weeks now. Everytime I reset the password, it starts to log me in then reverted to the please log in screen. I could not access anything at all. :mad: I did nothing different today but suddenly it let me in!!

I have noticed that the software for this is vBulletin. Expensive and unreliable. I had a forum on vBulletin, it was forver crashing and had more bugs in it than rotting wood. I paid $149 for a one off licence fee for Invision and their techs came down the pipe and converted my database to theirs, they do all updates for me at $25 every six months. That's all I pay - $50 a year. Irrespective of how many upgrades, or not, their might be. I even gave their techs an admin log in to save time; they do it after I 'sign' a waiver; which is unnecessary but legal.

The software is very strong and I have not had a seconds problem with it.
 
Were you loading the forum via www.androidforums.com rather than androidforums.com?

For some reason, having the www. there causes that kind of issue. You appear to be signed in, but as soon as you load the next page you're signed out.
 
I have just had to log in again!! I clicked remember me too. I had this prob when I had vBulletin.

In answer: I followed a link back from an email notification, as I did with this one
 
I just had problems again logging in, I thought I was already logged in. It turns out I was but it took a while. I am now getting a message on the top of the front page Bad Request- you sent a message our server does not understand!!
 
Clear cache - and make sure no www is in the address bar any time you come. If you get that message again, could you post a screenshot?
 
wow, straight in!! OK, will do as you ask but not at present, going for long weekend away and getting ready!!
