Logging in to Google

I have a Google account and a .gmail account. My cell phone (Samsung D600) Synchs with my Google account and receives mail on my .gmail account.

I cannot log on to my Google account from my cell. When I go on line and go to Google log in my phone shows a user name and email address that is not mine. I type in my password and I get the indication that I have not put in the correct password.

Any help out there?

Does it only do this on the phone? When you log in from your computer you have no issues?

I'm chagrined. It turns out my grandson had logged into his gmail account with my phone. The name and email address was his. All is well now.
