Hi folks, I've bitten the bullet and joined up because I'm treating my hair out trying to find a calendar alarm that does what I need.
Here's the situation; supposing I have just made an appointment to see my doctor at 9:00 am in 3 weeks time. I put out in my stock calendar, I ask it to remind me 24 hours beforehand so I know I have something coming up, I get a little beep and a notification, no worries. The problem is I want to wake up at 7:30 am on the day of the appointment so so I can get there in time, and one little beep is not going to do anything! So I download various apps that make my calendar alert long and noisy and reiterative, which is great to wake up to, but I really don't want it going crazy the day before! I then go to my alarm, thinking out will let me set an alarm for 3 weeks time, not so much, it only lets me set 24 hours on advance for a one off alarm, our else repeat regular ones. Given that my calendar lets me set multiple reminders for the one event, I would have thought there would be an option of whether one of these reminders is an annoying noisy alarm. Since this is not the case, does anyone know any apps that will let me attach an alarm to a calendar event but not to every single little reminder?
Thanks so much in advance, I'm going spare trying to find a easy to stay organised, and this is one of the biggest reasons I abandoned my old phone and decided to be 'smart'.
