Lollipop notification

On my Samsung Galaxy s5.. Before lollipop, when my phone was on silent and I would get a notification my led would blink, as well as the screen would light up, now it does neither..

Anyway for a work around? Other than turning the vibration level down.

Silent mode on Lollipop essentially kills all sounds and lights for notifications.

It's not the best workaround, but what I found is that if I turn my phone to "Sound" mode to allow all notifications, then go into the "Sound" settings and drag the volume slider for "Notifications" all the way down, the phone with light up and display the LED. You will still hear a Ringtone for calls, but texts and other notifications will be silent (and light up the lock screen and LED).

I use light flow for notifications. Still works on 5.0. But I also was getting stock notifications on 5.0 even on silent mode. Just a popup. No led though.

A small consolation perhaps but on the latest Lollipop, OC7, release build, 16th March, for the international, unbranded, G900F model, providing that Settings > Display > LED indicator > Notifications... is checked, the LED will flash on in Mute mode, when the screen is off
