Help Lollipop- notifications DO NOT light up my phone (email/fb msg/nothing)

Morketh

Newbie
I just got this lollipop update and the most annoying thing is that notification do not light my phone up. I have to turn the screen on by pressing the power button to see what the notification is, VERY ANNOYING!
Any idea how to turn it so text messages/fb messages/fb notifications/emails and any other notification light up my phone how they used to?

Text messages/phone calls are the only things to light my phone up

Yes I have everything in there turned on, but nothing to say to light up the screen, only to make noises and they all make noises, I just want them to light up the screen as well.
I need fb messages, emails, and other fb notifications to light it up

Go into settings/accessibility/notification reminder and uncheck everything or at least the LED Notifcation. Then you can go back into your Sounds and Notifications and make sure the settings are correct. You will see the red light when charging right off the bat...

Also you can go into Display/LED Indicator and make sure those are turned on

Hope that works for you

BTW if that still doesn't work, then do a soft rest after backing up in Kies. To do a soft reset dial ##72786##
Everything on my updated Lillipop S5 is working great now, not sure why people are having a ton of problems?

Those "dialing codes" on a Verizon phone are not decoded, they result in "that number cannot be reached as dialed" message.

Thats how its supposed to work, i assume you are in priority mode? The little star icon at the top will be shown.

Or are your interruption settings set to "Do not interrupt" ? if you have either set you wont get any email/fb led notifications. You'll only get event/alarm reminders or call/text notifications from your contacts if those options are turned on. You have to set it to "Always interrupt" to see the usual app led notifications, which means the sound or vibrate will also be on.

I want to see my app or led notifications when my phone is silent, it is cack.
