Help Lollipop Silent Mode forgotten on S5?

Many links
(like: https://gigaom.com/2014/11/17/silent-vibrate-do-not-disturb-android-priority-notifications/)

are saying that the silent mode can be recreated on the new operating system (called lollipop) that I installed today.

The screenshot in that link clearly shows a new screen with "None - Priority - All". However it is impossible to access that setting with the Samsung S5.

Does anyone have a work around for this. I have tried the volume and notification settings and the volume rocker but that screen and setting don't appear. I like the idea of being able to modify it and set a timer on silent mode. But how with the S5?

Hi, I usually just put my priority under none it's the same as silent on lollipop, I believe. I hope this helps, let us know if you need more help.
Anthony.

Sorry, you are missing the point. Despite many links telling me I should find ""None - Priority - All" there is NO SUCH OPTION on the Samsung S5 running Lollipop. So I want to know if it can be accessed in some other way on the S5?

Total guess here garry but it seems like Samsung left it out of their modified version of lollipop?
(the wife has a gs5 but she's at work)

So now I can not choose silent mode at all because Samsung S5 and Lollipop are non-compatible? Surely there is an app. I really would like to be able to use the upgraded features of setting a time limit for silent mode.

I wouldn't say non-compatible tbf but maybe Samsung just left that out of their software version. Again I can't check what's normal until dummy gets home ;)
