Lollipop Update

So according to what I've been reading, the update has been rolling out in phases and the Moto G(1st Gen and 2nd Gen) are going straight to the 5.0.1 version. It might be a long shot, but which one of you have it? Besides rooting and adding a custom ROM of course.

I have an xt1028 Verizon. I just don't see an update happening. Can anyone confirm this or am I wrong?

I was hoping they'd use 5.0.2 instead of 5.0.1.

I don't think many 2013 Moto G phones have gotten the update yet.

Yeah, I haven't gotten it yet. I decided to go ahead and flash one of the CM12 for the time being. When I read about 1st gen G's getting it then I'll flash back to stock and take the OTA.

There's a CM12 for the 1st gen (2013) model? is it capable on Crickets Moto G if I find a way to unlock the bootloader 1st.

It should work on Cricket's model. It works well for the GSM phones, but the CDMA variety doesn't get data or voice, I think.

There's no way to root the cricket model.
