Help Long GPS lock time

Hi,

having a problem with the GPS. This morning it took about 15 minutes before finding a lock in Navigation. Just out of interest, I exited Navigation and went back in. Again no gps signal. Gave up after 10 minutes. Rebooted but still nothing after 5 minutes. (Had to go and work! )

Will try later today and post my findings, but not happy.

Yes, GPS is enabled!

from which location are u trying? indoors, outdoors? are u trying just GPS or have u turned on the assisted GPS part as well?

First in the car.

I rebooted again, and went outside and got a lock after 5 minutes.
Rured og gps and maps, turned back on and locked in after about 5 sec so it seem to have fixed itsself!

Will test again on my way home this afternoon while driving

its usually the first fix in a new location (i.e. a new country) that takes a long-ish time. after that, it gets a lock within a few seconds, for me. is this the first time ur using GPS on this phone, or is this a sudden problem ur noticing?
