Long press not working in Google Play

The latest version of Google Play (3.9.16) has added the ability to delete apps from the My Apps listing. (Yay!) And it's working ... one app at a time. Supposedly you're supposed to be able to multi-select apps by long-pressing, but as soon as I lift my finger from what's supposed to be the first of the apps to delete (no matter how long I press, from barely more than a normal press to several seconds), I go to the app detail screen. Am I missing something obvious, or is this not working as it should? The phone is a rooted ZTE Warp with stock ROM.

Since my original post, I've run across a couple of other members who had the same problem ... so I guess it's not me doing something wrong. Which means I have to delete the apps one at a time. Which wouldn't be so bad, except it goes back to the top of the list every time you delete one.

I love that it gets them off the phone but dont get why they cant be removed from the browser version. I know the past phones remain and all, but they should add the same app removal to it.

Mine works. Long press the description area, not the little box, it will turn blue, then tap the others you want to remove and click the X on top (or circle with line, don't recall which it is).
It is a handy feature if you can get it to work.
