Long term to do list?

I'm looking for an app (with widget ideally) that will let me put just a few very important major due-dates / things to do on it. I use google calendar for day to day meetings and astrid to track things that I need to do in the next couple weeks. I'd like a third app that I can just enter my very important stuff. For example:

11/10: Giving a talk
12/5: Grant submission due
1/23: Paper revisions due

It will just be for ~ 6 months in advance, not for every day stuff. And it would be best if it's a widget.

Any ideas?

You could use SpringPad and set those long-term items to be flagged. The widget has the option to only show flagged items.

Thanks I'll check those out. I do use Astrid, but I would have to have 2 Astrid widgets, one for short and one for long term -- I always thought you could only have 1 widget per app showing?

GTasks allows you to make separate lists and use those lists in separate widgets. You can also sync it with your tasks on Google calendar. I use two widgets. One for work and one for personal.

I use Gtasks for long term stuff and Mobisle Notes for everyday stuff. I cant get by with either one, Mobisle is a check mark system that is really well done.
