Hello Hollow...can you give me a real life example of what you are trying to achieve here. I don't have friends that ask me to meet them at an L&L. Perhaps I am missing out on something here...
Geocahing or something similar, I would imagine. Someone hides something at x L&L, then you go there and try to find it.
No, really: I had it down to 3 feet accuracy, at one point!

yup geocahing and hunting it what it will be used for. i've looked all over in google maps and maybe i'm just stupid but i cant find a place to put in L&L anywhere... when i look at my google maps it has a little pin point symbol, 3 sheets of paper and a compass. Perhaps if someone could give me step by step on how to get to the page where i enter L&L that could really help me out.
and also another concern is being able to use this while i am out in the woods finding a tree stand or such for hunting and am outside the range of a tower.
thank you again!
also im using a samsung epic 4G

Thank you
By entering:-
loc:51.690722,0.16915
I get within 20 feet of my favourite parking spot; I suppose I can walk from there?
Have tried all the suggestions, but my android phone only accepts (shows) the latitude and ignores the longitude. Any ideas? If you want put coordinates in Google Maps:
Use this format for to put the coordinates in the search window of Maps:
loc:12.3456789,12.3456789
Why "loc:" in front of the coordinates?
Without "loc:" in front of the coordinates, Google Maps would show in the map the road/address next to the coordinates.
With "loc:" Maps will show the exact point in the map.
It's important when you are in the "wilderness"
loc:12.3456789,12.3456789
The same would do
12.3456789,12.3456789(MyPlace)
"MyPlace" stands for any text.
As I know, with a decimal input there is no need for an additional N, S, E or W.
West of Greenwich longitude needs a minus sign and so also latitude needs it for south of equator.
