Looking 4 an add on app for Gmail...

[secrecyguy]

I don't know if this exist. I try to look for it but I did not find anything like this.

I like an app that will actually read or scan each e-mail I receive and it if it sees a certain keywords in the e-mail, it will give me a different sound alert on the phone.

Is there an app for it?

Kind of......

1)
You can create a label in gmail that filters the keywords you are looking for.

2)
Then get Lightflow from the Play Store. Not sure if the free version does this, but the paid version does.

In Lightflow you can set gmail alerts by label. Each label can have a different sound, vibration or light color (light color is hardware dependent). Also, each label that you want to be notified about can have different repeat patterns. For example: a regular inbox message can have alert sound #1, no vibration, be white alert color and repeat every 15 minutes. But anything with the label "family" can have alert #2, vibrate, be red color and repeat every 5 minutes. Very useful app for more than just your gmail question as it works with a huge variety of apps and alerts. I rely on Lightflow for all my alerts. As long as I can see my phone, I know exactly what the alert is based on the color of the light and how often the light flashes.
