Looking at buying

Hi all I'm looking at buying and just wanted some advice.
I'll be watching films and browsing the net not much more than that really is the 16 GB memory enough with a few apps. Can an external memory be added to pull films from via usb.
I was thinking I pad oem transformer prime but the price a lot higher and it looks he price of these will be dropping with the I pad mini.
I'm also Liking android having come from an I phone to the galaxy S3.

hey johno! good choice in coming to android i cant really offer much assistance here but the transformer (oh boy) prime is top of the line please let me know if you need anything im always available

OP:

You need to buy an OTG cable from amazon or ebay.
Once you have that if you want read only access to USB sticks you can use: Nexus Media Importer which will just work right out of the box.

Alternatively if you'd like read and write access you can use stickmount this does require the device to be rooted though.

Thanks for the info think I've decided I'll have one I'm just going to wait and see if the price drops as rumoured when the I pad mini shows up
