which uses pan mode, not single picture stitch and doesn't complain about how I hold the camera and makes a panorama no matter how it will look.

looking for a different panorama app

Now I tried the free ProCapture, and Photaf.
They and Pano (from judging the screenshots) use the stitching mode, which is ok, but I really prefer the smooth panning mode.
I have a Galaxy Nex and the included Camera App is very good, only that it sometimes aborts taking a picture when I move to much up and down which I find extremely annoying. Also the field of view is too wide.
Besides that I very much prefer panning.
Do you know any panorama app that's more customizable but also uses the panning mode?
