Hello,
I have searched forums but did not find a thread similar to or at least related to what I want within the reasonable history and knowing 6 months is like an eternity in this arena, I'd like to ask the users of this forum, if they know/prefer such an app.
Basics:
* I need a FREE (not planning to pay for it, sorry) podcast manager
* It needs to be able to subscribe to a podcast and download whenever there is a new episode vi RSS links. Prefer something with adjustable polling times but can live without it.
* It needs to have a decent player or should be able to hook up to the music player and remember where I left off the last time. Player interface is not a big concern of mine
The Twist:
* I want to do the subscription and options modification on a desktop platform (windows or linux, NO MACINTOSH) and download the podcasts to my desktop system and sync with the Android device on demand, rather than periodically. It would be great, but not absolutely necessary, if the app and the desktop can track where in any given podcast I am at (like a shared marker) so that I can listen to my podcasts on either platform.
Is there such an application in existence ?
I browsed the market but most apps of this sort are coming as Lite or demo versions and I reaaly do not want to waste my time installing and uninstalling them. This is why I am asking the question to people who already have this experience.
