Looking for a good overclocker.

Before everyone gives me the warning i am very well aware of what im doing. Anyway. I currently have my S3 rooted and Cyanogen 10.0.0-d2vzw with kernel 3.0.48-cyanogenmod-ge67c. At this moment i cannot overclock my phone. Its an old phone so im not worried about frying it. So if anyone knows how or what kernal works with the mod i have it would be much appreciated.

Android v 4.1.2

If you're using the stock kernal, then SetCPU is probably one of the best apps you could use.

ROMToolbox is great too

I use a Linaro kernal (based on Franco) and use Franco's FKU app, which is one of the best, and probably better than Faux's FauxClock

I don't think CM's kernel is overclockable tbh. It isn't on my s3 version anyway. You'll need a custom kernel

I'm with Funky. You're gonna need a custom kernel. For AOSP based ROMs, you have several choices. The dkp kernel, Quantum kernel, and Deathly kernel are my 3 top choices.

As for a kernel app, I recommend Trickster. The free version is good. I went with the paid version and love it. It gives you tons of options.

Yeah Deathly if you're on a d2 (US version)
I know one of the Devs working on it.
For a nice simple CPU control app I always used to use No Frills CPU Control
