Looking For A Good Virtual Machine.

[CrazyJ36]

Hey I'm looking for A PC emulator or virtual machine for non-root. I want to boot/use other Operating Systems with my touch screen.

I have Limbo PC Emulator and I have learned A lot from it, but it only supports A few operating systems. I was able to boot the "Damn Small Linux" operating system and use it, though it was slow, and if I allocate too much of my phones RAM to the Virtual Machine it will refuse the connection.

I installed Android-x86 4.2 test build over Damn Small Linux but Limbo PC Emulator closes itself and I think that's because it's not A supported OS. I want something that supports any x86 OS. I read of "AnyBoot- No Root" but I can't find the APK. Any suggestions for apps?

I'm afraid that you're not really in luck on this occasion. :-(

You have awesome Apps like DosBox Turbo which will give you DOS. That's great for playing old games and application, but as far as I am aware there aren't any powerful virtualisation Apps that you can use right now.

I'm not sure why you want this functionality, but it if it to use modern Linux / Windows apps and you are mostly on or around your home WiFi you could install 2X on your home PC and the 2X client on your device. You could then deliver applications directly onto it (Dreamweaver, Office, etc ...) and it runs really well.

I do this with my Nexus 10.
