I doubt we have any jb roms with fully functional HDMI.

You could try the SOS M which is a de-Sensed 3.6 ROM based on MeanROM ICS. I've used MHL/HDMI on MeanROM ICS without any issues but haven't tested it on SOS M. It has the TVOut.apk so it should be fully functional.I am looking for a JB rom for the HTC EVO V with fully functional HDMI out. I would also be receptive to trying a senseless ICS rom with working HDMI out. I have yet to find one of either that works for me.

There's no VM version or aroma option for that ROM so you would need to do your own customization for MMS, etc.

Turns out this rom is a striped down sense rom as stated by the installer when flashing. I figured I would try it anyways. The boot splash screen made me smile. Also TV out works. However the app Sixaxis controller did not, as is my experience with all sense based roms. My purpose behind creating this thread is I would like to use two wireless DS3s with my phone which would be connected to the TV. I can get the sixaxis app to work with JB based roms but I have yet to find such a rom that supports TV out with my phone. Further only the sense based ICS roms I have tried support TV out.

Yea, that's a dilemma.
I've heard about the problems with the controllers and Sense ROM's but am not aware of any AOSP JB ROM's that have fully functional MHL/HDMI capabilities. I don't know much about game controllers but I've also heard that the PS3 models work with Sense because they use standard bluetooth to communicate but that won't help you if you're not using a PS3.

I've never used any of the Midnight ROMs for more than an hour. I know DAK used to incorporate the playstation software into his ROMs, so at least you'd be assured that the six axis works. Not sure about HDMI, but you can look into it.

What do you mean by ps3 models? Consoles? I own a ps3, and two dualshock 3 controllers. I would like to re-purpose the DS3 controllers for some multiplayer action when on trips or visits, utilizing the bevy of emulators and roms I have on my phone.

Ah you mean a generic Bluetooth controller. I am familiar with the controller they discuss in that thread. I referenced the same controller in a thread I started in these forums, Emulators & Controllers for the HTC EVO V. Though it has nothing to do with a ps3, it is a possible solution that I am aware of. Its just that I already have a few game controllers kicking around as it is, I would like to utilize the ones I have instead of buying more. Thanks for the help though.

I hear ya bro. Its tough getting everything in one ROM. Its kinda like us not being able to have 3D camera functions in a JB ROM. Its one or the other. But in your case there is a fix(sort of).
You will still get all the functionality just using a different controller. In my opinion I find it highly worth it. And now since you have peaked my interest. I just purchased one. And I'm gonna rock out some emulators.

I'd rather donate the $50 I would otherwise spend on yet another two controllers towards someone more knowledgeable and talented then my self to get TV out fully functional on a AOSP rom for our phone. If such a thing is even feasible, it would not only benefit me but all EVO V/3D users who want JB and TV out.
