I was looking to see if I could get some insight. I run the IT group for my company and I have the bonus of trying out new phones every now and then. I absolutely LOVE my Droid X and probably spent way more time than I should trying to root and play around with configs, etc. I say more time than I should because that was all on my free time. Oh well - that's why we're in this, right?
But I have the option now at looking at a new phone and giving the X to someone else. Does anyone have any opinions on the below in regards to the mod/dev community? Are there lots of options for rooting, etc? Do you prefer one over the other for battery life, reception, etc?
