Root Looking for a simple performance driven rom

Hi,
I just rooted my VZW Droid 3 with 2.3.4 and now I am looking to make it work better. I wanted to root it because it is slow. I dont care about fancy wallpapers or anything like that. I just want the phone to run smoothly and quickly. Can anyone suggest a good, simple, low resources ROM? No bells, no whistles...just simple, quick, and w/o gliches.

I think Liberty has the best battery life of any of the ROMs I've tried (Liberty, Monster, Maverick, and Steel Droid). I haven't tried CM7 or Dark Droid. Liberty with the AOSP launcher (can choose between AOSP or Blur) seems to be snappier than using the Blur launcher option.
