Hey everyone.

Basically i want a browser with multitouch pretty badly. But i also need apps to sd, which puts the.hero rom even further out of the picture.

If it matters I am running a Rogers HTC Magic (32a) , with the CyanogenMod ROM ver 3.8.6 I believe

not sure exactly what your asking for since Cyanogen builds have both multi touch in the browser and apps to sd....

Why does everyone say that, my browser does not have multitouch. I will re-flash the ROM to verify

To test it go to a web site with pictures or maps and use the pinch technique to zoom in or out... as for the apps to SD that is automatic in his builds, all that needs to be done is create an EXT3 partition on your sd the build will do the rest...

No, the browser does not have multitouch. I flashed the 3.9.10 version, and just like I thought, it did not work since it was not made for the Htc magic 32A

Side Question : Does anybody using apps to SD notice any app slowdown?

To your >>> SIDE Question :

Yes there is a slower response for apps to load ... we are talking the different between a mounted USB drive ... and Normal internal Flash ROM ... which is faster ...

I run about 300 apps from my 8GB Class 6 and there is a noticeable difference if I run the same app from my second G1 not rooted .. with about 50 apps ...

Does anybody know if it is possible to port only SOME applications to the SD card?

No all the apps are move to the ext2 / ext3 / ext4 partition ... and the mounting of the drive system makes the OS look for the apps at that new Mounted drive ....
