Looking for a specific chat app ...

I am looking for a chat app that meets the folowing criteria:

Does not use up text message limits.

Allows multiple people (4 or 5) to chat at the same time. So when I type something, all 5 people can see it, without having to individually address each recipient.

Works with 3G without Wifi

And finally, this app must be available on both Android and Iphones, and allow them all to chat.

I have buddies spread out over the US and we like to chat during Steelers/Penguins games, but we usually use text messaging which is painful when not 1 on 1 chatting.

Thanks in advance.

I did a market search for 'group instant messaging' and the first result back, tikl, looked like it met all your criteria. Even says its available on iPhone! There were more results, if for some reason that doesn't work. Happy to help out a fellow pennsylvanian!

Tried it with a buddy on an iphone. No luck. His app does not have a chat button, and the push to talk never went through either?????

Ok, I tried again. Kik messenger. Multi-platform, android, iphone, and blackberry. It has group messaging. I I even looked up reviews online. Hope it works for you.

Yeah I found that too. First I tried Kakao talk, for some some reason Virgin Mobile is blocking the text of my access code.

INstalled Kik. So far so good. Waiting for my buddy in PA to get out of a meeting to try it on his iphone.
