Looking for advice

Hi friends!!!

I ask the moderators to not move my thread - I am actually looking for the advice from my friends in the T989 Galaxy S2 forum.

I need some advice because I just happened to sell my Glaxy S2 for a decent price and I seem to be having a hard time choosing a new phone (it is kind of weird I know).

Been juggling 2 choices in my head and I need some advice:

1. Galaxy S4 from Google - unlocked and stock android coming out at the end of this month or
2. Nexus 4 - white or black havent decided on a color but most likely black. Already out

The biggest thing that I think of is the price - the nexus 4 is half the price of the GS4.

The second biggest thing is GS4 seems to have faster ram and better screen than the Nexus 4 and not to say that I am going to be able to put my entire library of music on my phone unlike the 16gig Nexus 4.

If you were me what would you chose and why? Or maybe you think there is another device that is more worth it so let me know!!!

The S4 is a great phone and so is the HTC One from what I've read. The HTC One is cheaper I think but no removable battery or sd card, but you can get a 32gb version of the phone.

The S4 only has a little over 9gb of storage available on the 16gb model, but a removable battery and sd card slot. Really the storage hasn't been a problem for me. I have 70 or 80 apps and still about 8+ gb of free space left.

Of course, you can't beat the price of the Nexus 4. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. You also have the Motorola X phone coming soon and also the HTC One Google Edition.

Personally, I'll be selling my S4 to buy the Note 3.

Only thing that troubles me about the Nexus 4 is no ability for LTE - T-mobile is rolling out LTE network and a capable phone would be nice to have for when it comes to Chicago!

By the way I know the note3 is not out yet but how much you think you gonna be selling your GS4 for?

The nexus 4 has an lte radio and I think there is a way to enable it. Search Google and you might find some info on that.

I'll probably sell the S4 about $500. I'll have to see after the note 3 is out.

Well I made the decision and I got the Galaxy S4 - with T-Mobile again. I just din't see myself dishing out 600 + for a phone right off the bat. My bill will not really change - except for 3 extra dollars for insurance increase. It's a really nice phone but this bloat has to go and I will be rooting today to get rid of some of this crap!!!!

You may want to hold off rooting for a few days. An update was released last week for the i9500 and i9505 that has some fixes and also allows apps to sd move. I'm not sure when the Tmo phone will get it. Soon I hope.

Well - the phone works just fine so I am going to cool my jets waiting for updates - I have not seen any lag sooo its fine whenever the updates come. The only thing that bothers me a lot from the bloat is the antivirus that they have on that scans all my apps and I just don't want it there. I download only apps that have tons of reviews and I know are worth it. Also that T-mobile account showing me how much traffic I have used is pointless when I am on the unlimited plan!
